Jay-Z for Rhapsody

This folks, is the how you deliver an icon and connect with real fans...

For the unfamiliar or uninitiated the spot shows Jay-Z recreating his album covers. it's a slick nod to a great artist as well as an easy way to show the depth of the Rhapsody roster. (as if we don't all have these album already, you do have them all right?)

Text messaging PSA from Whales

If you are squeamish I would avoid this ad. But the graphic nature really tells the whole story of the dangers of texting while driving.

Take note. This is how you bait and switch

One of my favorite vlogs is Fast Lane Daily. They just pulled of an awesome integrations.

New Sate Farm TV spot

Like a lot of folks, I was checking out Black in America 2 tonight. I caught the one of the first commercial pods and for the first time in a long time I saw a really good, simple spot.

The premise was very simple. The kids have come of age. And in that age, there have been responsibilities that have been accumulated and a need to protect them. Instead of going in for the heavy handed sell, State Farm gives you an easy message and smooth ring out. Done. Not sullying the message with overdone production and unnecessary copy is a wise and appropriate choice.

The one thing that I have to ask the folks at State farm to do before another sun sets is POST THE SPOT ON YOUR YOUTUBE SITE! http://www.youtube.com/statefarm?WT.svl=102
Come on guys you've gotta get hip to the simultaneous release of your media - Buie

E-Trade "Unbroke"

I have to give it to E-Trade on this one. They've done a great job making the work engaging and viral. The right hand man (well, baby) may be a little un-nerving for some but I think it's well within the bounds of funny.
